Dr. Elizabeth Khalili

Biography

Dr. Ombito Elizabeth Khalili is a Kiswahili teacher educator. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Education from Moi University; Masters in Kiswahili Education from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology; and a Bachelor of Education (ARTS) honors, from Moi University; specializing in Kiswahili and History. She has teaching experience of over 23 years at the secondary school level. She is a curriculum developer lecturer in Special Methods of teaching Kiswahili; Educational Media and Resources; Media Practicals and Micro teaching. She facilitates workshops and seminars on the Competency-Based Curriculum. Her research interests include Instructional Methods and practices in the Competency-Based Curriculum; Kiswahili Language and Literature; Educational Media and Resources. She has published four book chapters and journal articles, and presented papers at academic conferences as documented below:
